Is it really white-label?
Yes. With the client website add-on, your families enroll, book, pay, and message through a portal carrying your practice name, logo, and colors, and the custom domain add-on serves it from yourpractice.com. SageWife appears nowhere your clients look.
Who owns my client data?
You do. Your client records, notes, and files belong to your practice, and you can export them at any time. Leaving SageWife never means losing your practice.
Do you take a percentage of my fees?
No. You pay a flat monthly subscription and keep 100% of what you bill. Card payments are processed at 3.1% + 30¢ per transaction by Stripe. That is the processor's fee, not our cut. You can also avoid processing fees altogether by recording Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, cash, or check payments directly against an invoice, so those payments still show up in your ledger, your reporting, and your client's balance.
What happens when the global obstetric codes go away in 2027?
On January 1, 2027 the AMA deletes the global maternity codes (59400, 59510 and the rest) that obstetric care has been bundled under for more than thirty years. Care gets reported instead as four separate phases: antepartum, labor management, delivery, and postpartum. SageWife already charts by phase rather than as one bundled episode, and we are mapping templates, superbills, and reporting to the new codes ahead of the deadline at no extra charge.
What is actually in the basic package?
The full EMR: client charts, encounter notes, flowsheets, problems, medications, allergies, labs, scheduling, intake, consent, invoicing, and superbills. Charting is what every practice needs on day one, so we never put it behind a higher tier. Your plan is chosen by the size of your practice, and the extras (client website, store, training, AI) are add-ons.
Can I change plans or drop an add-on later?
Any time, yourself. Move between Solo, Practice, and Collective as your caseload grows or contracts, and switch add-ons on and off month to month. Changes take effect on your next invoice, and nothing happens to your charts or your client history.
Is SageWife HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. Client data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per practice, and we operate under HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. You stay the covered entity for your own care.
Who is SageWife for?
CNMs, CPMs, and licensed midwives running independent practices, solo midwives most of all, though Collective supports birth centers and multi-midwife teams. If you catch babies and drown in admin, it's for you.
How fast can I go live?
