What to Expect During Your Ultrasound
Duration
Most ultrasounds take 30-60 minutes. We never rush - we take time to ensure thorough imaging and answer all your questions.
Preparation
For early pregnancy scans, you may need a full bladder. We'll provide specific instructions when you schedule. Wear comfortable, two-piece clothing for easy access to your abdomen.
The Experience
You'll lie comfortably while we apply gel to your abdomen and use a transducer to capture images. The screen faces you so you can watch your baby in real-time. Partners and family are welcome!
Results & Images
We'll discuss findings during your scan and digital images can also be provided. Detailed reports are included in your medical records.
